About AUSTIDC

Aust Innovation and Design Club was formed in Spring 2017 to brew all the innovative ideas in innovative minds. It is the first technological club in Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology and one of the prominent clubs of the country. AUST IDC is a club for the students to show their innovative ideas and enhance technological skills. The club acts as the bridge between different students of different backgrounds. This club brings all departments of AUST as one to make our university more successful in every aspect.

About AUST

The Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) was founded by the Dhaka Ahsania Mission in 1995. Dhaka Ahsania Mission is a non-profit voluntary organization in Bangladesh. The Mission was established in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an outstanding educationist and social reformer of undivided India. With his own vision of a better society, characterized by a wealth of moral and spiritual values of the highest humanism that are universally acclaimed through ages and manifested in every sphere of life social, economic, and cultural; and access to education and resources, he established the Mission.

IDC At a Glance

AUST IDC has always focused on quality building rather than increasing the numbers only. Yet, within the 3 and a half years of struggling, as of January 2021, IDC has organized 65+ events which include Technical Workshop, Skill Development Training Program, Informative Seminar, Intra-AUST Students’ Contests, Inter-University/International Competitions, and many more while also engaging with the prominent industries and multi-national companies as valuable partners into these all! AUST IDC has been organizing its flagship event called ‘𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀’ since 2019, keeping “Ideation into Existence” into the tagline.

I appreciate the activities of the Innovation and Design Club (IDC) at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST). The university aims to groom students to face future challenges in all areas. Participation in extracurricular activities and utilizing innovative thinking to solve problems is encouraged. The IDC serves as an important platform for students. The newly designated website will help others learn about IDC and provide answers through a helpful FAQ section. I appreciate the Innovation and Design Club (IDC) at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) for organizing various technical co-curricular activities. AUST IDC is a renowned club at Ahsanullah University of Science & Technology (AUST), established in 2017. With over 3.5k members, it has organized 75+ events, including workshops, seminars, competitions, and more. Despite the pandemic, IDC conducted 30+ online workshops and collaborated with companies like Unilever and Supermap Software Co. Their flagship event, 'MindSparks,' is an annual tech-fest with various interactive activities. A website for IDC will attract more members, encourage unique ideas, and attract sponsors.

They have organized 75+ events, including workshops, seminars, contests, and competitions. Despite the pandemic, they hosted online workshops and collaborations with Unilever and Supermap Software Co. Their flagship event, MindSparks, is the largest Tech-Fest at AUST and has an international collaboration with IIT - Roorkee, India. The club's website is expected to grow, and its student members contribute unique ideas to the scientific communities.
